Build control
The fitting finds the answer, the build delivers it.
When the same standard follows the club from recommendation to finished build, small details do not disappear between a fitting bay, a shipping box, and a factory floor.
Why ownership matters
Fit here, built here
When fitting and building happen under the same roof, nothing gets lost in translation. Every specification is verified, every detail is intentional, and every club is built to deliver the performance you were fit for.
Texas Exclusive
The only SST PURE® facility in Texas.
Every shaft has natural irregularities in straightness, roundness, and stiffness. SST PURE® finds the most stable orientation in each one and aligns it inside the clubhead before assembly — so the club delivers the same answer, swing after swing.
-
Up to 51% improvement in impact repeatability on the center of the clubface — independent SST PURE® testing.
-
More consistent ball flight from shafts built to behave predictably under load.
-
A set that performs the same club to club, set to set — on new builds and clubs you already own.
What is PUREing
SST PUREing is a process that locates the Neutral-Axis™ of a golf shaft — its most stable bending plane — and aligns the shaft in that orientation when the club is assembled. PGA Tour players have relied on PUREing for more than fifteen years.
The system
The Pure Spec shaft alignment and analysis system is proprietary hardware licensed only to authorized SST PURE® facilities. The Golf Station is the only licensee in Texas.
What stays connected
The build is where the answer becomes your club.
The details that separate a fitting recommendation from the club a player receives. The Golf Station carries every specification through the build process and verifies the finished product.
Grip installed to preserve feel
Grip choice is only part of the answer. TGS weighs grips and controls size, alignment, texture, and install so feel is not left to chance.
Shafts matched to the recommendation
Weight, profile, length, and orientation are treated as build variables, not loose suggestions passed to someone else.
Loft and lie checked against the answer
Every specification is verified because even slight changes can influence launch, turf interaction, face control, and overall performance.
Length built for the player not the rack
Length has to work with posture, delivery, contact, and the rest of the set, not just a standard spec chart.
Swing weight controlled not assumed
A club can match the spec sheet and still feel wrong if the weight is not controlled through the build.
Final club verified before it leaves
The recommendation only matters if the finished club preserves the same answer the fitting uncovered.
Built with intention
A fitting loses value when the build becomes someone else's interpretation.
Big box fittings get handed off. The Golf Station executes your build sheet with precision, so the finished club matches our assessment.
