About The Golf Station
The Golf Station exists for golfers who are tired of guessing whether the problem is their swing, their equipment, or both.
No packages to upsell. No reason to recommend something you don't need. What we have is a way of looking at your game — your clubs, your swing, your ball flight — that usually reveals what's actually the problem. Most of the time, it's not what you thought.
Established
2005
Two DFW locations. One standard.
How this works
You bring your clubs and your swing. We measure what you have and what you're producing. We read the data, but more importantly, we observe what's actually happening.
Then we tell you what matters and what doesn't. Sometimes that's equipment. Sometimes it's instruction. Sometimes it's both, and we tell you which one to address first.
We don't pressure you into anything. We give you clarity.
A specialist looks at arches, pressure, movement, and distance before recommending what you should run in.
A fitter should understand your current clubs, swing, ball flight, and goals before recommending what should change.
A simple way to explain it
We think about golf equipment the same way. A generic fit can work well enough to get by, but it can also force your body to compensate on every swing.
One team, one framework
Our instructors fit. Our fitters understand instruction. You won't get contradictory advice from different people, and you won't have to start over if you work with someone else in our shop.
We're consistent because we built it that way.
This takes discipline. Most places don't bother. We do.
The standard
That standard keeps the work from becoming a transaction. TGS is not walking you to a rack, chasing one launch number, or pushing a brand because it is the newest story in golf.
The goal is to understand what is actually happening, then explain whether the right next step is equipment, an adjustment, instruction, or leaving something alone.
The conversation starts with your game, budget, goals, and the miss you want to understand.
Current clubs, motion, delivery, and ball flight are evaluated together.
The answer may be a club change, a swing adjustment, an instructional plan of action, or no purchase at all.
What makes it different
01
The conversation is not built around one manufacturer. The right answer depends on the player, the club, and the result.
02
A fitting can reveal swing compensations. Instruction can reveal equipment that is making the player work harder than they should.
03
When equipment changes, length, lie, loft, shaft, grip, swing weight, and build quality all affect whether the recommendation holds up.
04
You do not need to be polished before you walk in. The work starts with the swing and clubs you have today.
The team
Two locations, same standard
Same approach. Same standards. Same team methodology. You get the same level of analysis, the same precision, the same honest assessment in Grapevine and in Hurst.
Inside the station
We build what we recommend
We don't fit you and hand you off to someone else to build your clubs. We do it ourselves. That means what we measured is exactly what you get. No variance. No compromise between the recommendation and the execution.
Relationship over transaction
The Weekly Tee, returning customers, and long-term relationships all point to the same thing: TGS is built for golfers who want a trusted place to return when their game, equipment, or goals change.
Relationship over transaction
A place to return when the next question shows up.
Start with a session, or use the FAQ if you are still sorting out what to ask before you book.
